It’s been nearly a week since I last blogged about my writing. It’s been a busy week. According to the NaNoWriMo stat counter I’ve been clocking in at 2,242 words a day! When I set out to do this little misadventure my goal was to hit 1666 words a day. I’m pretty solidly ahead of schedual, at 20,178 words. My goal is another ~5000 by Monday that why I can tell people “I’m halfway done with a manuscript”. How else am I supposed to come off as smug, condescending, and superior?
Now I’m not trying to make this sound easy. I came in under my goal a few days ago which was pretty exhausting. To account for it I spent every lunch break, writing, while sneaking in a few words typed on my phone when I was waiting to go some where. I can feel myself slowing a little but but its time to power through it.
So while I do all this bragging there’s really only one meme to express my mood:
