So after all it turns out that the NERD’s real name is actually NERD?! (or at least those are his initials) Nedwick Esteban Reginald Douglaston was a name so strange and quirk that the moment it materialized in my subconscious I knew I had to use it. The poor kid had no shot. He was predestined to be obsessed with comic books fantasy and sci-fi. Maybe I should get him to write for The Epic Beyond. That is if Albert doesn’t have other plans for him.
